I always stay at this place when I visit. The staff helped with a taxi number. It suits me perfectly, with Wi-Fi, free parking, and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a rooftop pool and a fitness centre. I'm coming back for a city break.

I loved the outdoor swimming pool, it was like taking a dip in the Amazon. The shared lounge was perfect for gossiping with strangers. And the terrace, oh la la, the perfect spot for sipping champagne and pretending I'm on a yacht.

The road leading to this paradise was obviously designed for Formula One drivers. I had to navigate it with my pinky finger on the steering wheel, so amusing!

I had an exceptional stay at a beautiful place with a stunning view of the river. The house was an excellent conversion of an old stone building, and the modern amenities were top-notch. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were a bonus, and I loved being able to use the kitchen and barbecue. The friendly hosts welcomed me warmly and even arranged a boat trip for me. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

During my Xmas stay, I was delighted with the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is located amidst green nature and boasts a stunning view of the river. Additionally, the hotel is built on old ruins, which adds a unique and authentic charm to the place. The lack of traffic nearby only enhanced the tranquility and relaxation. Furthermore, the friendly and caring staff provided excellent service, offering to bring us supplies from the store uphill. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook our own meals, making our stay more convenient and enjoyable.

We were looking forward to enjoying this facility, but unfortunately, it was not available. This was a letdown, as it would have been a fantastic way to unwind and relax.

our second visit to this area was even more impressive. douro green exceeded our expectations with its stunning location, spacious house, and excellent service. the staff made us feel at home and the amenities like the pool, sauna, and gym were perfect for relaxation. highly recommended!
